Summer of Love: Part One

It's almost August and it's already been quite a summer. Now that we have a car, we've taken the twins on a lot of road trips and discovered, much like their parents, they are great travellers.

Usually one of us drives, but Nomi wanted to give it a spin.

We started out by visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Poughkeepsie. Silas and Nomi had their first dip in the pool.

Nomi was apprehensive but then relaxed.

Silas, nonchalant at first. 

Then he went for it.

Next up was a trip to Old Forge, NY (way upstate in the Adirondacks). We rented a cabin and hung out with Sunny's family, the Harrises. Uncle Alex came into town too.

There was eating, drinking, Scrabble, a Hootenanny, and much cooing at the babies. They fully enjoyed all the attention. Especially Nomi:

But too soon, it was time to pack up.

Silas helped. Sort of.
